Eeeeeeeleven months! Our baby is one month away from being a year old and I know what you’re thinking… I can do the math… thanks for the clarification. 😉
But, one month and my baby is a year old! I just don’t even believe myself when I say it out loud. I really would like to think of this as a milestone for us all. We made it to our first year as a family of five. So, so cool!
If you set this baby down, he will not last in the same position for more than a few seconds. So this is about all I got once I laid him down…
Wasn’t that quick? I swear he leapt up like a little ninja baby.
This little guy now has seven teeth and enjoys green beans, bananas, Lara Bars, yogurt, Baby Bels, string cheese, apple sauce, pureed food, pasta, soft meats, sweet potatoes, avocados, and he will eat a good amount of what we eat, too.
He’s wearing size 18 month clothes and size 2 shoes. And yes! I finally started putting shoes on him. Okay so maybe like twice. But it’s starting to get colder and he won’t keep socks on, so I am trying to keep them on with the shoes.
He is pulling himself up, shimmying around and enjoys climbing the stairs. He loves being outside and playing with the toy kitchen, wooden blocks, and magna tiles (sucking on them and knocking over creations made by his siblings), and is also enjoying the play table and splashing in the bath.
His nicknames include Frankie, Frankie Baby, Frankie Mo, Frankalino, Frankerini, Cranklin, King Cranklin (when he’s being super fussy) and Frank0.
I thrive on a schedule and because of it our babe is pretty predictable. He wakes up by 7:15 (if he’s not awake on his own he is woken up) and he nurses and has breakfast shortly after. He goes down for a nap at 9:15 and is woken up by 10:30 if he’s not up on his own. He has lunch around 11:45/12 and goes down for his afternoon nap at 1:15. He wakes around 3, nurses and has a snack, and then has dinner around 4:30/5. He has his bottle at 6 and is then in bed at 7. Repeat!
Both Gwyn and Cal always preferred me during the baby phases, but this little guy truly likes us both equally. He gets super excited when his daddy comes home, gives us both alternating slobbery kisses in the morning, and doesn’t fuss for me when handed to his daddy like Gwyn and Cal used to do. We all like this.
And next month, his last update! Thanks for following along!
